Lately...

Busy is the best word to describe the last few weeks. I feel like I have been going non-stop, but these last few weeks have made my summer so much fun! I went with the fam on a trip to San Diego and that was a BLAST! It was full of shopping, laying at the beach, and even SEA WORLD. That was my favorite part of the trip by far. Shamu literally brought tears to my eyes in the "Believe" show (highly recommend it). I love all of the memories that are made while spending time with my family. I love them all so much!









A week after San Diego, I went with Matty's fam to Lake Powell. That was also AWESOME! The weather was perfect, the water was perfect, and I am so glad I went. The trip was full of boating (obviously), great food, tube wars, and FUN! I can't wait to go again.

Random, but worth mentioning...shark week starts TODAY. I am terrified of sharks. TERRIFIED. It takes a lot of persuading from family or friends to get me in the ocean and stay longer than 10 minutes. But there is something about shark week that intrigues me. Maybe it is because I feel that the more I learn about these horrifying animals, the better I can escape if I ever encounter one. Or maybe it is because I can watch them in action from the comfort of my couch without stepping foot in the ocean. Whatever the reason may be, I love shark week, and I will be watching the Discovery Channel all week.
