Sweet Summer

Lately I have been thinking more and more about becoming an event planner. I still want to graduate in Human Development because I would LOVE to become a child life specialist, but that career is very competitive in Utah. I became aware of this when my college counselor told me to pick another major unless I am planning on moving out of Utah when I graduate. That was really comforting, let me tell ya! Event planning is so great. I enjoy planning the bigger events at Rice Eccles like football games, weddings, and Supercross... to the smaller events like swim parties in my back yard with friends. I love seeing the finished product of the event, and I love even more, the reactions of the guests when they first arrive.

The last event I went to was a wedding for a girl I went to High School with. Even though I didn't plan this event, it was fun to observe her decorations, the food, the photographer, and the set up. It was a very nice evening and fun to be with friends!

Also this weekend, I went on a picnic with Matt. The weather was PERFECT, the Cafe Rio was wonderful, and my cute date couldn't be any sweeter.
